Drifting with Debussy
What you'll need:
- Dubonnet
- Gin
- Cointreau
- Cherry Liqueur
- Juices: Orange, Pineapple, Cranberry (a splash)
- Lavender and fresh thyme (optional)
Directions:
In a shaker glass with ice combine:
- 2 parts Dubonnet
- 1 part Gin
- 1/2 part Cointreau
- 1/4 part cherry liqueur (I like Luksusowa)
- Add a splash of orange juice, pineapple juice, cranberry juice and shake it up good
Pour into an ice filled hurricane glass and garnish with an orange wheel. If you're feeling fancy add some flowers and fresh thyme.
Dubonnet Cocktail
What you'll need:
- Dubonnet
- Gin
- Angostura Orange Bitters - Lemon (optional)
Directions:
In a shaker glass filled with ice combine:
- 1 oz Dubonnet (or more)
- 1 oz Gin (Dubonnet and Gin should be equal parts)
- A few dashes of Angostura Orange Bitters (I always add more than a few)
Stir gently and strain into a martini glass. I like to garnish with a lemon wheel.
