What you'll need:
- 1 oz. Scotch Whisky
- 1 oz. Heering Cherry Liqueur
- 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
- 1 oz. freshly squeezed juice from a blood orange (I used a regular orange because blood oranges weren't available)
Directions:
1. Fill your shaker glass with all your booze. Next squeeze in the juice from the blood orange.
2. Add some ice and shake it up real good then strain into your coupe glass. If ya like, rim your glass with the orange rind then drop it in the glass.
Here's a variation that I also enjoy:
Fill a rock glass with ice and add:
- 1 oz. Scotch Whisky
- 1 oz. Heering Cherry Liqueur
- 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
Instead of the juice from an orange, add a few dashes of Orange Bitters and stir.
Cheers!

You will end up tasting it something like a compound made of orange juice with alcohol. So at least while I am in mood to write my cipd assignment in Bahrain I can not afford to serve this as long as I am done with my job 😁
